[Sea Freight] Main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange declines to 1100 points

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities declined on Thursday lead by weak capesize and panamax rates.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities declined on Thursday lead by weak capesize and panamax rates.

The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, down by 4 points to 1100 points on Thursday.

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
